Well, according to children’s paintings . . . Yellow!
The Pencil names below? Dark Cadmium, Zinc, Lemon Cadmium, Primrose, Naples, Straw & Gold.
My favourite Yellow? The colour on the transfer glass below – egg yellow.

From left to right . . .
Top shelf – 1970 “love is . . . knowing you’re all I need” by Kim button, 1960s Lego Mercedes Shell Oil tanker, 1966 Winnie-the-Pooh metal tea-set plate [the only piece I have left !], buttons, glass salt shakers and vodka shot glass.
Middle shelf – transfer glass, 1970s PIQUE alarm clock made in West Germany (my Mum bought it for my yellow themed bedroom in the early 1970s)
Bottom shelf – Desimone expresso cup made in Italy, corncob ceramic salt shaker, Twinings Earl Grey tea tin, TGGreen Cornish Ware green stamp (1930s to mid 60s) mug filled with pencils.
