My Menagerie of Mismatched Miniatures.
The green glass Cat was a gift from my oldest school friend in 1977. She purchased it from The Glass House at our local mall ~ Warringah Mall. The shop was chock full of beautiful things and from memory specialised in Scandanavian glass.
The glass Rooster & tiny green Deer sat in my Baba’s display cabinet and I inherited them in 1996.
My mother visited The Netherlands during the 1970’s and brought back the tiny Delft Cow for me.
The ceramic Bambi look-alike was found in a throwout pile (kerbside collection)!
My Aunt is an Elephant keeper and I know Frogs, Owls and Roosters are well loved too.
Now to business . . . if I had to choose one animal, it would be Cats!
What about you?
They are so cute! Thanks for your sharing!
It’s my pleasure! Yes they do, especially close-up. I couldn’t stop taking photos of them!
That’s one tiny deer… I bet it wouldn’t eat much!
Dunno about that, I think it may interested in eating the Rooster
Snakes, but since they don’t really do snake ornaments – more like the scary rubber ones – then I’ll have to make do with the real thing.
Yeh, you’re right – snakes miss out. But they have cushions . . . http://eastcamphome.com/search?q=black+king+snake
Lovely photographs of your little creatures, I especially like the owls and bambi!
